About Me

My interest in photography has been a natural progression from the things I'm most passionate about—traveling and nature. Traveling has always been a part of my life. I've traveled all over the United States, including Alaska and parts of Canada. It's in my blood. My trips to Alaska and Canada in particular have taken me to beautiful, remote places both on foot and by paddle, but it was in Alaska that I got seriously hooked on photography.

The passion I find in nature and travel also extends into the human experience. Capturing moments where people work, play and live allows me the chance to show our commonalities.

Photography, for me, is about capturing moments. My goal is to create images that move people, that touch them in some way. When people see my work, I want them to see the beauty that surrounds us all.

Fine Art Prints

I am now offering fine art prints for sale. The images come from my travels around the Southeast--from the Blue Ridge mountains to the the Lowcountry of South Carolina, my subjects range from picturesque landscapes and the strong stature of the Oak tree to the swift mountain stream or gentle beauty of a flower. All prints are printed on Kodak Professional Supra Endura VC Digital paper, which provides accurate color, realistic saturation and a standard archival value of 100 years in home display. Print pricing and sizes are:
