About Me
I’m Chris Hall and I’m a writer and photographer currently residing in Aiken, South Carolina. While I think I was born to write and I often had a camera in hand in my youth, it was through my kayaking and canoeing travels that led me to more seriously pursue photography. I started my blog to share a little of the beauty I come across on my adventures, both through images and the written word. Not surprisingly, I’ve started writing about my great passion for kayaking and canoeing. My hope is to share a little of what I know and to inspire people to seek further instruction for this great sport. And it’s been my experience that those who become interested in paddlesports will also become stewards of our waterways.
My experience paddling kayaks and canoes started with a week long wilderness trip in Quietico Provincial Park in the summer of 1990. Since that time, I’ve taken numerous classes, have worked and volunteered as a river guide, and have paddled in 7 states and 2 countries–rivers, lakes and sea kayaking.
All prints are printed on Kodak Professional Supra Endura VC Digital paper.and a standard archival value of 100 years in home display. A few of the benefits of using E-Surface paper include accurate color, realistic saturation, excellent neutral flesh reproduction and brighter colors. Add to that brighter blues, cyans, purples and reds and you’ll see why Kodak’s E-Surface paper is among the most popular. Contact me to purchase a print.
